Government of Canada Press Release, Regina, Saskatchewan - On behalf of the Honourable Jason Kenney, Secretary of State (Multiculturalism and Canadian Identity), Andrew Scheer, Member of Parliament (Regina-Qu’Appelle), will take part in the RCMP Heritage Centre’s new speakers’ series. He will pay tribute to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police as an important symbol of Canadian identity.
An audience composed mainly of high school students, university students, and a troupe of RCMP cadets will gather to hear about the history of the RCMP over the past 134 years.
Mr. Scheer will speak about how the RCMP has evolved into a world-renowned organization that has adapted as Canada has grown in population and diversity.
“The RCMP has been an integral part of Canada’s historical and cultural landscape. They helped form and protect our nation and played a significant role in creating the Canadian identity,” said Secretary of State Kenney. “They helped in the settlement of the Canadian West by keeping the peace as numerous cultures came together.”
The Government of Canada is committed to preserving and promoting the fundamental values of democracy, freedom, human rights, and the rule of law.

I have never considered the RCMP as a Symbol of Canadian Unity, except with regards to those within the Status Quo in Canada’s corrupt Corporate-Government Political Parties (i.e., Liberals & Conservatives, which represent only the Plutocratic Phylosophy of Governance), who have ordered first the former-Northwest Mounted Police and then the RCMP over a 100+ year period to systematically commit genocide and/or other terrorist attrocities against First Nations People and the Middle and Lower Class Citizens of Canada. Thus, the Canadian Government has no right to make such a statement, attributing it to a National Identity neither most Canadians or my family and friends would never support. I consider the Government of Canada and those who support it International Terrorists, which can be verified by International Laws formulated in the United Nations and NATO.

Wow, Jim! Sounds like you have a bit of pent up rage! The government ordered the NWMP and RCMP to commit genocide? Terrorist attrocities against the middle and lower class? I will probably get censored again for this but I here cuckoo birds singing, and tight white jackets getting loose…

I guess what SlimJim there fails to realize is that majority rules in this country, and he obviously is not in the majority, at least that is what the voting bloc has said. There will always be a percentage of malcontents.

Sounds like he’s had it rough with the RCMP to me and maybe we should ask for more explanations.
If this attack is really going on and it seems at least in the coverage of the media that it may indeed be going on to some degree.
Look at the Commissioner against Arar.
Mulroney against the German born Shriber.
The four RCMP members against the Polish Man who’s been killed and blamed for his miss foutune.
Could this person be on to something when he says the Government and the RCMP did the same to the Natives of this country - when they herded them into reserves?
I think this is worth looking at that’s if you have nothing to hide I guess.
