Cst. Kam Khamphoune a 6 year officer of the Richmond RCMP has been charged with 6 criminal charges by way of Indictment after an appearance in Richmond Provincial Court yesterday.
Charges are:
* Possess Stolen Property under $5000
* Possess Firearm not registered to him
* Possess Prohibited device 30 and 20 cartridge mags
* Illegal Storage of Firearm
* Unlawful Transfer of Firearm
* Breach of Trust. Tampering with evidence
Crown Counsel is still reviewing file regarding potential Child Porn charges. Khamphoune schedule to appear July 5, 2007 at Richmond Provincial Court.
He is currently under suspension with pay pending process to suspend without pay.
