(Vancouver Sun) - An RCMP officer is facing charges in connection with a brawl at the 2006 Mountie Stomp Dance.In a written release the RCMP stated that Const. Devon Jones has been charged with assault causing bodily harm.
The altercation he was allegedly involved in happened April 9, 2006 when he was off duty and attending the Mountie Stomp Dance.
Jones is scheduled to stand trial in Kamloops this week. An internal code of conduct investigation will be held after the criminal trial.
