According to legend, the Mounties always get their man. This time, they didn’t have to look too far.
Approximately $250 000 in goods were taken between 2003 and 2005 from the RCMP Training Academy’s store in Regina.
In recently released documents, the federal government determined the stolen amount was a loss and wrote it off.
A canteen shop employee has been charged with theft. The suspect has entered a guilty plea and will be sentenced sometime in late October.
