The phrase “forced to cry racism as the only proxy” may leave an impression that Racist Behavior does not take place inside the RCMP organization. I always try to use the term behavior with racism. Racism cannot exist on its own as if it were in a bottle on a shelf or we catch it like a cold. The fist question I have is “Does racist behavior take place in the RCMP organization?

Anyone care to answer the question?

In many respects, training nowdays is a watered down disgrace that it’s main objective is to feminize the profession. Yes, there are plenty of folks that washout via performance issues. But, this is different that those that are capabable who face the kind of harassment that also goes on in there.
The real heart of this issue here is that the RCMP can’t/won’t deal with issues of harassment and individuals are forced to cry racism as the only proxy that will get their voices heard. Such cases are not isolated. Harssment is rampant. If the RCMP was credible at handling such cases I believe we would be less apt to see Human Rights tribunals stepping in.

God forbid it may actually be a fact that the individual could not make the grade. Previous comments on here from persons with inside knowledge would make it appear you almost cannot fail unless you were a complete non starter. Minimum standard for cops? What a concept.

RCMP Watch, I love how you chose the categories for your articles: Abuse By Mounties, Abuse Of Mounties, Discrimination by RCMP… Isn’t this article about an appeal? Or is it discriminatory for the RCMP to seek a judicial appeal?

Oh, it must be abuse of power for the RCMP to challenge the all knowing Canadian Human Rights Tribunal. The same body that fined David Akenahew a minor $1000 for openly promoting genocide and denying the holocaust on national TV. The CHRT has a history of poor Judgments that proves it to be nothing more then a kangaroo court.
