The interim commissioner of the RCMP says her replacement must come from within the force.
In her first interview on calls for an outsider to take the helm of the RCMP, Commissioner Bev Busson says there’s no one better qualified than a mountie. Busson, speaking exclusively to QR77 News, says a civilian cannot understand the dangers faced by rcmp members.
While not commenting directly on the RCMP pension controversy, Commissioner Busson said, “There will always be personality conflicts in the force but this is not a systemic problem”.
