(ctvcalgary.ca) – Two men who pleaded guilty in the shooting deaths of four Alberta Mounties are expected in court next week to appeal their sentences.
RCMP Constables Leo Johnston, Brock Myrol, Anthony Gordon and Peter Schiemann were gunned down by James Roszko on his farm just outside the town of Mayerthorpe, Alberta on March 3, 2005.
Last year, Shawn Hennessey was sentenced to 15 years in prison and Dennis Cheeseman was sentenced to 12 years for their role in the deaths of the four officers.
They gave Roszko a rifle and a ride to his farm where Roszko later gunned down the Mounties.
