Vancouver, B.C. (CKNW AM980) - A former Mountie and Vancouver police officer has pleaded guilty to indecency charges dating back more than 35 years.
Robert Gordon Bodkin was working as a transit supervisor for the Coast Mountain Bus Company when he was arrested in October.
He was charged with two counts of gross indecency and two counts of indecent assault involving abuses between 1972 to 1975 against a boy and a girl under the age of 15.
The now-62 year old Bodkin’s next court appearance is in May for a pre-sentence report.
