(mysask.com) – A former Saskatchewan police officer…already in custody accused of killing an Ottawa police officer…has now also been charged with nine counts of sexual assault causing bodily harm, possession of child pornography, and sexual interference with a sixteen year old.
Kevin Gregson was an R.C.M.P. officer in Saskatchewan in 2006, when he was suspended for threatening a Regina bishop.
This past December he was arrested and charged with first degree murder in connection with the death of Ottawa Police Constable, Eric Czapnik.
A psychiatric evaluation of Gregson has found him fit to stand trial…though his lawyer says she may seek a second opinion.
