E-mail to Prime Minister of Canada

Dear Sir,

I always had warm feelings towards Canada and the RCMP.

However, having seen:

http://www.mowiepopolsku.com/content/view/27784/ ,
http://www.cbc.ca/canada/british-columbia/story/2007/10/18/bc-taser.html ,
as four Canadian RCMP policemen murdered in cold blood, confused, innocent and unarmed Polish citizen whose only blame was lack of English language skills, and who hardly could be considered any threat to them, I would like to declare, that I changed my mind.

And please - don’t even try to explain. There is no doubt your RCMP policemen are guilty of at least negligence homicide and I expect they will be sentenced to many years in prison. No weapon (including tasers) should ever be given to such irresponsible and badly trained persons. The man could easily be stopped by two competent, well trained policemen with handcuffs and maybe pepper spray, without doing any harm to his health, and with his situation explained later and help given to him. Instead, he is now dead. And this is also your fault.

Use of taser was not justified at all, in my opinion, since this is widely known fact, that tasers are not always safe for persons they are used against, and in certain circumstances they turn into a deadly weapon, as happened at Vancouver Airport. Like with guns, their use should be limited, to avoid harm to people’s health. They should not be considered all in one cure. It seems like your government did nothing to prevent unnecessary use of tasers, despite having known those facts, and that’s why I call it a homicide.

This also seems that some blame also goes to Vancouver Airport staff, who did not help the confused man in time.

And if there is hardly anything positive about it, this is that thanks to modern technology less and less of sometimes ridiculous incompetence of government and its officers, can go unnoticed.

When RCMP goes to Mr. Dziekanski, he spoke “POLICJA, POLICJA!!” it mean ” help help!!” I think Mr Dziakanski was happy, satisfied when he saw POLICE. He was in a strange country, abandoned, lost, terrified, exhausted and clearly wanting some help as he looked and spoke to the others and no one could even read his body language. Not even our well trained national police force the RCMP assessed this situation properly and they should be held accountable and immediate action should be taken and not a paid vacation this time.

I am so sorry that you did not find help here in Canada Mr. Dziekanski and that this awful thing has happen to you, as you were attempting to start a new life with your mom here in Canada. As an animal lover you would of liked our National Parks and wildlife.

What a tragedy, I do agree with the voice of Canadians that this kind of behavior has been going on for way to long now and as a Canadian I am appalled at the lack of leadership here for not doing something about these things years ago and now I say to
them no more sweeping your incompetence under the political rug.

We Canadians have been lied to for many years as well so do not hold the people here responsible for the lies, and sins of our foolish leaders.

I’m glad someone had a camera this time to catch them right into the lie and I do hope justice will not be denied this time as it has been in the past.

This is a time to stop these useless RCMP internal investigations that only agrees with the forces incompetence.

Spin or no spin I am embarrassed today to even call myself a Canadian.

I guess it would be too much to ask to wait until the 4 investigations are finished before we hang them from the nearest yardarm.
