Jennifer Saltman, Surrey, BC (The Province) – Charges have been stayed against a Surrey RCMP officer accused of pointing a gun at a group of youths.
Const. Jason Gernhart was responding a disturbance call at a park at the time of the alleged incident in February.
Gernhart, who had less than two years of service, was charged in August.
The charges were stayed last week in B.C. Provincial Court in Surrey.
Looks like another “clear the air” exercise.
