Wanted killer Richard McNair was proud to admit that he was one of America`s most wanted.
And Canadian officials are proud to say they caught him.
More information about the capture was released this afternoon in the Canadian province of New Brunswick.
Canadian authorities in the small town of Campbellton, New Brunswick released a photo today of the stolen white van Richard McNair was driving when stopped by officers.
When McNair was captured, Canadian officers say he bragged about who he was, and he told them they would be all over television for capturing him.
For the 18 months McNair was on the run, law enforcement received about 300 sightings in Canada alone.
An inspector at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police called McNair a professional and a serious criminal.
McNair is expected to be turned over to U.S. authorities in the next couple of days and will most likely be locked up at the North Dakota state penitentiary in Bismarck.
