Surrey, B.C. (Vancouver Sun) – A bus passenger who was injured while resisting arrest by Surrey RCMP has now died.
Police report the man, who was arrested at 72nd Avenue just west of 134th Street on Friday night, has died in Surrey Memorial Hospital.
At a news conference in Surrey this afternoon, police reported the man had a heart attack when taken into custody and was put on life support in hospital where he later died.
Well I think we have got to the bottom of it. Arresting people causes death. Time to stop arresting people.
