In December 2011, in Cranbrook, B.C., Cst Bryden Hennessey was charged with theft. He failed to log into exhibit a laptop computer he had seized as evidence and kept it for his own personal use. In a few short months he was suspended without pay, his gun and badge taken away and basically forced to resign.
In contrast This disgraced mountie from Alberta seems to have committed crimes far more serious and he gets to stay in the force.
Is there someone who could explain this because there seems to be different penalties for different people.
If the force could so easily and quickly get rid of Cst Hennessey why is it then so difficult to get rid of Don Ray?????
He is not going to Sp O
So Don Ray is going to Special O, I wonder if he will be occupying Travis Pearson’s job. The force never fails to amuse me. Their is a morale issue in Special O indicated by past and present members of Special O. How about for once just doing the right thing, don’t send a problem child to a section where members will feel demoralized and not heard. They spoke loud and clear to the media expressing their concerns – I heard them – I guess management must of missed that exclusive.
It’s my understanding the latest exchange is Don Ray for Travis Pearson.
EDIV and KDIV have been exchanging members for years. Remember that BC took Bob BLUNDELL after he sexually assaulted the four female members in Calgary (2004). We took Steve BLACK in return.
When you have an arrogant and self righteous “leader” like D/Comm. Callens, do you really think the man is going to say anything otherwise. Obviously Callens has an extremely high opinion of himself and would never find fault to his actions or statements.
Does Callens actually believe that by placing Sgt. Ray into a Federal area of responsibility that he will be supervised to a greater degree. I would suggest that he will have less accountability and far more freedom.
Like any sex predator when they are moved into a new community, the community is rightfully advised. I am certain that this sex predator, with the assistance of D/Comm. Callens, that he was moved into this Federal position without any caution to the existing employees. Congratulations Callen, that’s taking the lead and demonstrating leadership.
I fear that if another unfortunate event happens surrounding Sgt. Ray, that Callens will once again tell us how he has taken the lead and demonstrated his leadership.
