Mountie arrested for assault

Vancouver police arrested a Richmond RCMP officer outside a Vancouver nightclub after a call for help involving a domestic assault yesterday morning about 2 a.m.
Const. Jason Ing, 36, was charged with assault after the early morning altercation.
Richmond RCMP will conduct an internal investigation of its officer, who they say is a Vancouver resident.
